Sliding into your inbox slightly later this evening as I make my way home on a very rowdy Loop bus home. I just celebrated a friend’s birthday and the sunset was just a little too beautiful to leave. I’m sure you can understand (seriously, how lucky are we?)

I looked back at what was happening in Ramsgate this time last year, and it seems that it’s pretty on trend to open a new venture at this time of year. This week, we’ve got two new pubs on the scene - The Ravensgate has gone back to its roots (under new ownership) and Addington Street’s Seabird has undergone a complete overhaul to come back as a new boozer, Blackbird. More details on both below…

New in Town: The Ravensgate

I have super fond memories of The Ravensgate from back in the day, so I’m really stoked to have it back in use. If you’re looking for craft ale on tap, this might just be your new regular.
