We’ve made it to the final newsletter of 2025 (perhaps only just, for me)! I hope you’re well and truly enjoying this time, and sending love to those who find this time of year hard for whatever reason.

It’s been a joy spreading the word on Ramsgate’s incredible selection of events, and I can’t wait for even more action in 2026. 🎊 New Year’s Eve Winter Lantern Parade

Start to bring in the New Year with this lantern & giants parade featuring handmade costumes and lighting. The theme is Love, Peace, and Joy for anyone looking to make their own costume. See below for lantern-making workshops.

The Micro Museum is opening its doors to retro game lovers and vintage computer enthusiasts from Christmas through New Year. Sounds like a vibe to me!

Take a dip and raise funds for Ronald McDonald House. This year’s fancy dress theme is Marvel characters, so get your supero costumes ready. Swimming starts at midday, followed by drinks and live music at The Queen’s Head.

Make a lantern to join the New Year’s Eve Lantern Parade on the 31st. You can also take it home and display it in your window! All materials provided.
