It’s been a week full of interesting chats in Ramsgate. As the summer holidays swing into action, there’s that nostalgic seaside holiday feeling in the air, and as a town, we brace ourselves for a slightly busier season of beachgoers, souvenir hunters and casual drinkers. And while there certainly is an uptick in tourists, it’s also a time that many residents vacate Ramsgate for their own adventures, leaving gaps in the normal retail and hospitality regulars.
On that note, this week, I’d love for you to try an event somewhere new (below should help), head to your local shop for a gift, or pop in for a drink at your favourite bar. When we spend locally, we’re not just buying goods, we’re investing in our town, and that’s exactly what Don’t Miss is all about.
Don’t miss out, until next week - EJP x
