Pound Sale, Independent Venue Week & Good Vibrations
PLUS, have your say on the Isle of Culture
Have you seen the news? Thanet is set to put in a bid to become the Isle of Culture, and you’re invited to have your say. I’m quite excited by this proposal, and there’s 10 million at stake, so make sure you’re engaged. Fill out the survey here.
Before I delve into this week's events, I’ve had a few people ask me how our subscription model works, so I wanted to explain where your sign-up fee goes.
I currently dedicate time to writing this newsletter, and any subscription income goes towards giving me a little bit of compensation, as well as Don’t Miss founder George, who ensures Don’t Miss Ramsgate (and Margate) are operational. Additionally, 10% of every subscription goes back into a community pot that supports micro-grants for local businesses and individuals to run events.
We are currently offering a free Ramsgate cup to anyone who signs up for our annual subscription (£44 a year), so do take a look and support if you are in a position to.
Don’t miss out, until next time - EJP x
