October kicks off with a weekend packed full of music, talks, roller discos and multiple pet blessings (yes, really!), and I’m so here for the return of creative workshops and cosy evenings in pubs. Let’s hope this early autumn sunshine makes a return, she says while looking at a very miserable view.
In more lovely news, we’ve had a flurry of new subscribers this week. Welcome! You’ve absolutely come to the right place for all things Ramsgate, and without further ado, let’s get to the listings you’re here for…
Don’t miss out, until next week - EJP (you can find out more about me here!) x
🙏 Pet Blessing Service
Sat 4 Oct, 11am, 2pm & 3pm / Multiple venues
There’s not one, not two, but three (that I know of) pet blessings happening in Ramsgate today. What are the chances? Well, actually quite high as it’s an annual blessing of animals in honour St. Francis of Assisi. Bring your pets for a special blessing at one of the following times: 11am at St Laurence-in-Thanet Church, 2pm at St Augustine’s, and 3pm at Holy Trinity Church.

I chuckled when reading ‘lo-fi apocalypse-ready band’ as I typed this up, but turns out the British Birds create all their tunes within the soundproofed walls of their makeshift art-house-apocalypse-bunker. Listen to them live, before you can no longer do so, I guess.
