Some of my family are here this weekend, so I’m on my best Ramsgate tourism board behaviour showing them exactly what we have on offer. My sister has been particularly eager to get back for CUBO’s Patatosa pizza (potato on pizza IYDK) and we spent the majority of our afternoon winning rubber ducks in the arcades. Hey, there’s a reason why Ramsgate has been crowned the number 1 seaside town to move to according to a 2026 data study on AOL.
Don’t miss out, until next week - EJP x

🍺 Mini Green Hops Festival
Until Sun 11 Oct, Thu 4 - 10pm, Fri & Sat 1 - 11pm, Sun 11am - 7pm / The Ravensgate
Celebrating Kent’s illustrious history as one of the countries largest hops producers (it was the first place to formally grow hops in the 1500s after it arrived from Europe), The Ravensgate will be showcasing two different Green Hops. For those less savvy with hop lingo, that’s beer containing hops that have come straight from the field without any additional processing. Try out tasty options from Wantsum Brewery and Shivering Sands, but once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Ramsgate Pride, Victorian Garden Party & Street Wisdom Walkshop
I’m once again writing to the wire, as thanks to a jam-packed week, I haven’t had much chance to sit with my laptop. What a week it’s been - I laughed, cried and danced my way through all of it (not all at the same time) thanks to another remarkable year of Ramsgate Festival of Sound. I know I say it often, but we really are lucky to have such a variety…
