Over the last week, I’ve had several joyous Ramsgate moments. I’ve tucked into delicious curry from The Curry Mistress pop-up at Gather & (follow for their next supper club), wondered if I was on a city break while meeting with friends in Ramsgate Arts Club, and been overcome by the taste sensation that is GIANT Coffee’s plant-based sausage roll. It’s so brilliant to see fresh blood coming into town, bustling with locals wanting to support those new ventures. Honestly, it makes me do a little happy dance.
On that note, it’s also really lovely to see that despite this being a free newsletter, many of you have chosen to support it on your own accord. As such, we’ve decided to officially turn on paid subscriptions. For those who would like to, it's £4 a month or £44 for the year to support us, with 10% going into a community pot for Ramsgate to fund more free events. To clarify, this is *completely* voluntary. While subscribers will likely receive some perks as we evolve Don’t Miss Ramsgate, there is no obligation to pay. Thank you to everyone who reads, shares, and heads to events - we have big plans!
Don’t miss out, until next week - EJP x
